STARET (30"s to Early 40's )
This wonderful brooch measures 3 1/8” wide by 2 ¼” and look terrific on! It has pave set clear rhinestones all over the bow and one blue marquise cut rhinestone in the middle. It is marked STARET on the back. It’s in very good condition and not cheap! (grin).

This large butterfly has been pictured in many books. It has been attributed to Staret, but there are no marks. It measures 3 ¾” wide by 3” tall. This butterfly has multi-colored oval faceted stones in the body and clear pave set rhinestones surrounding it. It is in very good condition!

This fish is marked Staret and looks very much like the real thing, but in my investigation, it proves to be a very good fake! It seems that the real Staret fish pin had faceted colored bellys, not clear cabochons. This seems to be one of the fakes sold by a woman, R. Barnes, in the 90’s. Too bad she didn’t market under her name, it’s a great pin! Not sure if she’s still selling or not, but her fakes are not cheap, even in this day and age!
Order Number: # pStfish Price: $220.00
This long 5" tall by 1 3/4" wide sword pin is gold tone covered pot metal. It has the older "bar over" safety clasp, with pave set clear rhinestones on the blade and handle. The blue round cut rhinestones decorate the handle. The whole piece is cast, not stamped metal and has some heft to it. This pin is found in " Warman's Costume Jewelry Figurals" by Kathy Flood on page 177. It states it's an unsigned Staret, circa 1940's. This pin is in good condition. Could this be fashioned like the Excalibur? It's a great pin.
