This pin is really a transfer on porcelain, of a lady with hand-painting on the top of it. The necklaces and feathers on top of the hair are painted and some of the lace on her dress. She has gold guilt around the frame and a C clasp. She measures 2" by 1 3/4" . She has a back brass plate which attaches with prongs to the porcelain. She does have some damage on the front down by where the roses are, you can see where some of the transfer has come off. Please look closely at pictures. The piece is not cracked, but looks so in some pictures. The pin stem has been jury-rigged and needs to be fixed, hence the price.
